iPhone X Outperforms Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8 Plus on DxOMark Rankings | Gadget Magazine
While you might be impressed with the design or display of the iPhone X, it also appears to offer remarkable camera results. Now, image processing firm DxOMark Image Labs has claimed that the new iPhone model has topped its mobile ranking, surpassing the performance results of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro with a leading score of 101 for still photography.
The iPhone X has a similar dual-camera setup to the iPhone 8 Plus; there are two 12-megapixel camera sensors — one with a wide-angle f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS). But both the iPhone models have different DxOMark Mobile scores due to the presence of an improved telephoto lens on the flagship iPhone model along with a wider, f/2.4 lens that supports OIS. Apple has also tweaked the software for its top-end model to give its best through features such as Portrait Lighting and an enhanced bokeh effect.
